The tongue on one of the boots has a cut in the leather. I did not notice this when I was looking at them in the Timberland store, I discovered this defect when I got them home. The cut appears to have been done by a razor, it is noticeable and deep. This is the second time I have purchased a premium pair of boots from Timberland and had to return them because of a defect. This was not the case in the past, quality was excellent. Today it seems that the quality of the premium boots is hit or miss. I will be returning this pair to the Timberland store that I purchased them from for a refund.

I've been wearing Timberland boots for quite a while now, and they've exceeded my expectations. They're comfortable enough for all-day wear once broken in, and the support is excellent whether I'm working, hiking, or just wearing them casually. One thing I appreciate most is their durability. The waterproofing performs well, keeping my feet dry during rain and damp conditions. While they may feel a little stiff at first, the break-in period is worth it. Overall, Timberland boots offer a great combination of comfort, durability, style, and performance. I got a 7 regular but it was a little tight so I had to go with a 7 wide and it fits perfectly like a sneaker fit but could've gone with a regular 7.5 for a boot fit. #SWEEPSTAKES
