Appareil photo instantané LAB blanc POLAROID

So upon getting this gadget I thought it would be good for printing my photos straight from my phone.

So emptying the contents of the box onto the table had a quick glance at the instructions first off I needed to download the app, ok great but I had to go find it myself as there was no QR code.

Switching the lab on was easy enough you just press the button on the side, simple.

Now loading the paper - easy enough just push it in close the door, job done.

Now it says it works best with the screen protector and case removed but tbh I ain’t going to remove my screen protector for nothing unless it’s broke which it wasn’t

So I loaded up the app chose a photo, cleaned my screen placed it on top pressed the red button an bam! It shot out fast! Cool right!

So you need to pull the photo but without touching the black film that’s on top - I found this a little tricky as it’s got some resistance to it, that it snaps back in the lab quite fast , made me jump the first time as I didn’t expect it.

So now it says it needs to be somewhere dark so I lay the photo face down for 10-15 minutes. Wicked there’s my photo that I printed.

So I done this process 7 more times as you only get 8 in a pack (which for the price I kinda feel is expensive)

So 4 of my photos have a partial finger print as I hadn’t realised I must have touched the screen which is a little disheartening as they aren’t cheap to buy for them to be ruined but you don’t know until it’s printed.

There’s also a feature that lets you put a video into the picture - the picture should have a barcode I believe that tells you, you can scan it through the app and watch the picture come to life. So I did this but it didn’t put a barcode on it so then it kinda makes it forgettable that you’ve done this in the midst of printing.

So ok I’m done with playing/printing etc I’ve come to turn it off - there is no clue on how to do this I pressed the button on the side - nope. I looked in the instructions- nope. Utterly clueless at this point I’ve had to Google it to find the answer, you have to gently push the top part back down until it clicks, see now I wouldn’t have done that in case I broke it.

I think a little clue on the instruction papers wouldn’t hurt.

My overall opinion- its a good idea but an expensive gadget to print photos.

I remember polaroid cameras from when I was a child and i love photography and these days most photo memories are online (phone/tablet) this is a great idea and the photos are almost instant (15 minutes) the only downside is the cost of the films. Great idea but very costly!

Brilliant for an event or party. Super easy to set up and use.

Very cool little photos which work great as a keepsake for post party memories. Expensive but if you've got a special occasion then totally worth it

Good size, easy to follow instructions there is a video on the app too on how to use. App directs you through use and phone alerts you if not properly aligned, great way to instantly print photos from your phone, charged fast too. Lights up to show how many photos are left in the film too which is a good feature. Would recommend!

Brilliant piece of kit, I find the app easy to use, it has some clever options, and you can make alterations to the image before printing. It’s completely portable since it’s lightweight, rechargeable and small. Film isn’t cheap, but that’s always been the case for Polaroid, you are paying for the instant photo capability. Obviously the better the camera phone, the better the picture, but modern phones can take high quality images. I take a lot of pictures on my phone but never print them, this is perfect what I want.
