This machine is great for making biscuits but not for waffles. The temperature setting/duration essentially goes up to 7. When we first got it, at setting number 3 it made great waffles. The second time we used it, we had to turn it down to 2 for it to work properly. Now, at 0.5 it still overcooks so we are sending it back. We are really disappointed as we have other Sage products that are great but, looking at other reviews, this is clearly not a one off problem.

So pleased with this after trying numerous cheaper options. The batter never sticks and the waffles come out delicious and crispy.

Simple to use, space saving as stands up when storing, NO sticking! Perfect waffles 🧇. What more do you want 😋

I’ve had two of these waffle makers in the last two months.

First off, the positives. It’s very easy to use, the most is a fantastic idea and works really well. Waffles are consistent and taste great.

However, the con here is that after about three or four uses, the beeps that accompany the Ready light (that alert you to either the maker being hot enough or the waffle being done, fail to sound anymore. I’ve a friend who also has one and they have the same problem. In fact, reading other reviews on various sites show this is a common problem. So I believe this is a design flaw and not a fault batch. Sage won’t admit it, although have replaced the unit once. However, this is not something I want to keep doing after every few uses. So I’ve returned it for a full refund.

Which is a shame as it’s a really good waffle iron in all other respects.

Come on Sage. Fix this problem!

Simple to use. Great waffles. No mess ( unless you over fill it.. )

I don’t really understand the settings .. level 2 is about as brown as you would want.. 5 would be pretty crispy!

But overall, really pleased.
