Comfortable to wear. Good sound quality makes it perfrect for gaming but also good enough for other purposes like listening to music. Quality of the material seems solid enough for the long time usage.

I received this product 2 months ago and I have enjoyed the gaming experience with the headset. The cushions on the ear pieces are very comfortable and I have found myself using the product for prolonged periods of time without getting any ear ache. The only downside to the product is the build and chunkiness, it does weigh quite a bit and does add the extra constraint on the neck.

I have been in possession of the Logitech G PRO X for just over a month and can report back that this is a great all round headset for ALL scenarios. I have used various headsets over the years aimed at gamers and therefore I feel like I am experienced enough to offer an educated appraisal.

To start with ill discus general operation and what comes in the box. The Logitech G PRO X comes with the leatherette ear-pads already attached and with all the accessories you will need to get the most out of the headset in the box, including:

Foam ear-pads

USB External sound card

Detachable boom mic

2m cable with inline volume and mute

Mobile cable with button

Y splitter for separate mic and headphone ports

Carrying bag

If you’re on the go you can attach the Mobile cable to the headset, this has an in-line microphone with a single button for playing/pausing music and answering/ending calls.

When you’re at the house you will have various options depending on what situations you want to use this headset in. If you are planning on using the headset with a gaming console you simply attach the provided boom mic and 2m cable (with inline volume and mute), plug the cable into your controller and your good to go. If you’re using the headset with a PC simply pop the USB soundcard into a USB port on your setup and plug the headset into that, the USB soundcard will help you to get the most out of this headset on your PC and is the key to the BLUE voice settings. If you already have a soundcard you would prefer to use on your PC or have an external mixer for your gaming console/PC then you can use the included Y splitter to split the cable to headphones out/microphone out.

The build quality on this headset is fantastic; it’s a seriously rugged piece of work. While I have been in possession of the G PRO X I was certainly not gentle with it, I have an active lifestyle and the things got banged about. Everything still works the way it should, no scratches and no dents. I also switched the ear-pads out, both are very comfortable and serve different functions. The leatherette pads are for a more “closed” sound, you will not be able to head what’s going on outside these cans when these are attached, the proved a thumpier bass and will seal everything up. The cloth ear pads will provide less sweat if you’re prone to it, have a more “open” sound (a more balanced soundstage) and you will be able to hear better what’s going on outside of the cans. My only minor gripe with the G PRO X, is that if you have a larger head then they can start to feel slightly tight if you have been wearing them for multiple hours; now to be clear we are talking upwards of 5 hours.

I have tried the headset out on all the above scenarios; I used it as my day to day out and about headset for listening to music and taking calls. The quality when taking calls is crystal clear on both ends, there is nothing fiddly about doing this and it’s all very intuitive.

I have also used this headset attached directly to a home gaming console’s controller. The sound is excellent and better than most other headsets I have tried for home consoles. You a very clean balanced sound stage from these cans, the bass is very defined but not overpowered, the mids are clean and the highs are well defined. Playing competitive FPS games you are easily able to determine where an enemy’s location is via sound, their footsteps give them away.

I have used the included Y splitter and ran the headset into an external multi-channel mixer that also had my game console into this. This is a more complicated set-up for the budding audio enthusiast, but the headset succeeded very well in this scenario.

I have also tested the headset on the PC with the provided USB Soundcard. You will need to download some software/drivers to get this all to work effectively but it is well worth it. There are options for the layman and if you want to open it up, there are plenty of options for the more advanced users (compressors/limiters/etc for voice and EQ /etc for sound). This is really where the headset shines and where you will truly hear what Logitech has put into the G PRO X headset to make it rise above the competition. You can hear with pinpoint accuracy where multiple sounds are at any given moment and really push this headset to its limits.

All in all this really is a great headset, and I’m talking from experience, you can use it in virtually any situation and it will shine, it seems to have been made for everyone. I’m very happy with the headset and will be looking at more products from Logitech in the future.

The Logitech G Pro X Gaming Headset is a different breed of headphones.

From the get go, the packaging and box opening experience promised good things. Upon delving into the contents I was not disappointed. The headset came with a whole host of accessories, including carry pouch, detachable leads of varying lengths, microphone splitter, detachable microphone, alternative fabric ear pads, and of course the headset itself.

The headset itself seems to be built with the highest quality materials, with a very sturdy and premium feel. The headband is fully adjustable allowing for a snug fit on both me, and my friend’s, heads. And not only does it fit very well, it is incredibly comfortable. Other headphones have made my head and ears hurt, and overheat, after prolonged use. Not these. I can wear these for hours and have no problem keeping them on.

The sound quality of the headphones is top notch. I can happily play games, or listen to music with them. The sound seems fairly neutral, with nice bass when needed. I have had qualms with pervious headphones surrounding too much bass, or sounding too tinny. These headphones sounds perfect.

The detachable cables some with volume and play/pause control buttons, which comes in very useful indeed.

Overall I am very happy with these headphones, and would easily recommend them to a friend.

Great gaming headset! Been using the headset for a few weeks now. Used mostly with Xbox one connecting through controller. Earpiece completely covers ear so very comfortable even when playing for a few hours. Sound quality is great, can really feel the bass and voice clarity is very good. Other users reported that speech from headset is also very clear. Very close but not completely noise cancelling, though when gaming all normal background noise is blanked out. Also now used as daily headphones by removing the detachable microphone and connecting directly to phone. Noticeable sound quality improvement when using Blue USB adapter for PC. Sturdy build and surprisingly sleek finish. Comes with replacement earpiece covers (faux leather and mesh) and very handy carry bag.

What an experience! Sounds impeccable and the mic is even better (I like the fact it's optional)! Easy to use, lots of good settings options and the blue tooth works really well. Comes with lots of useful accessories. A*!

Very functional. I like that the microphone is detachable from the headset, this is pretty useful. Very comfortable, leather ear cups allow for better noise cancellation. Slick design. The blue voice software is also quite good; still getting used to it but allows for no distortion and a bit more clarity on my speaking to my friends online.

The Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset has a very high quality look and feel. It's lightweight to wear and the ear pads sit comfortably. You can communicate with greater clarity and hear both nearby and distant sounds more precisely. Sounds such as footsteps and shots being fired are pinpointed especially accurately. The USB sound card and carry bag are ideal for traveling. The one thing that would have improved the headset for me would have been more options to customise sound settings.
