I was really excited about this but when trying it out it kind of defeats the purpose of it being hands free as it just slides back out of your body if you’re too wet. The vibrations on the app are also not very strong, to strongest one is actually within the manual clicking of the button on the 3rd speed option.

I got this in the Lovehoney advent calendar (which was otherwise fab!), but this little gadget didn’t quite live up to the hype.

The app could be great… when it actually works. Unfortunately, the long-distance connection kept cutting out, which seriously dampened the sneaky fun. If you’re hoping for spicy FaceTime sessions with your partner miles away — this might not be the reliable sidekick you need.

Physically, it just didn’t hit the right spots for me. I know we’re all built a bit differently, but the design missed my clit entirely and focused more on general vulva vibes. Nice? Sure. Orgasmic? Not so much.

It might work as part of a longer warm-up, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a standalone toy. Too fiddly, not enough payoff.

What we liked:

What could be better:

The Bluetooth connection dropped on us once when we were testing from further away. Not ideal in the middle of a session. We restarted the app and it reconnected, but I can see how this would frustrate people trying to use it for long-distance play. I read online that this is pretty common with a few app-based toys, so it’s not just We-Vibe — but still worth noting.

Also, while it’s adjustable, it doesn’t have the same level of custom fit as the original Sync model. That wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, but some couples might prefer something more customizable if the fit isn’t perfect.

Final thoughts:

It’s a really fun, well-designed couples toy that gives you control and closeness even from a distance. Great for partners looking to spice things up with tech. Just be aware that the app isn’t flawless and may need a quick reboot now and then.

Still, it’s one of the best couples toys we’ve used in terms of feel, shape, and function. It’s earned a spot in our drawer — and we’d definitely be up for testing more in the We-Vibe range.

Excellent, fun toy. The app is easy to use and various modes. We like the music one where the beat dictates the vibration. Wife loved the sneaky discreet use of it.

After reading the reviews I wanted to get this to try with my partner. We managed to set it up on my phone via the app but when it came to pair with his phone it didn't work at all which was disappointing. While using it together it refused to stay in no matter what way we positioned ourselves and the toy another disappointment. The only good thing I can say is the vibration was good on it. The first time I have been disappointed with a love honey purchase definitely wouldn't recommend it
