Moule 12 muffins v002229 DE BUYER

I received this product for free from de Buyer in exchange for my honest review. The non-stick surface worked perfectly and all muffins browned evenly. The mold cools quickly, is easy to clean, and is very sturdy. The size of the individual cups is larger than mini but smaller than regular sized, so it was a bit tricky matching recipes to the size of the mold. Recipes with 1.5 cups of flour seem to work best for 12 muffins. Recipes with 2 cups of flour required 2 batches of baking. This is an excellent mold overall.

I want to start by saying that I received this product for free from de Buyer in exchange for my honest review. First of all, as with all deBuyer products, this is clearly a much higher quality product than anything you find in non specialized stores. This brand pretty much became my go to for anything Kitchen utensil related! This is pro level grade. I made orange-almond muffins with this pan and those came out perfect. I did not use muffin liners because I prefer my muffins on the crunchier side on the outside so I simply put a little bit of butter at the bottom of each mold. They came out of the mold without any effort! I literally just picked them up with my fingers and they came out without leaving a crumb at the bottom of the mold. This was rarely the case with the molds I’ve used before. I personally prefer non stick to Silicone as they create a more golden brown color at the bottom of the muffin due to much better heat conduction. Overall, I highly recommend this muffin mold. Of course, this is PFOA free!
