    Great features

    Great machine with lots of functionality and instruction included. The reason I didn’t give a 5 star was because it is easily scratched and when you make the coffee you need force to insert the portafilter and l keep switching the machine off as it’s where you put your hand to steady the machine.

    Barista Touch review.

    Am new to Sage. And we came to grief re your dosing funnel ! Your warning “ Not to insert the portafilter with the dosing funnel attached into the group head” needs to be made much more explicit. You need to redesign this model to prevent that happening at all. It took the Herculean strength of my son in law to release it. I imagine that this is not the first time it has happened! We look forward to your feedback.

    Lovely machine

    Does exactly what I wanted it to do! I was fed up of rubbish coffee so treated myself. It works great. Takes a little bit to get the setting to how you like your coffee to taste but once set up it’s very easy to use.

    A happy customer!

    Takes a little bit of time to optimise the coffee taste but the resulting effort is well worth it. Coffee is excellent. The machine is straightforward to use, heats up quickly and is easy to clean. It looks great in our kitchen and I would certainly recommend the Sage Touch.

    Don’t by a sage!

    Bought as upgrade to Bambino plus. What a mistake. Steam wand always needs cleaning and gets clogged up, bambino hardly ever did. The grinder is poor and comes out in clumps no matter what grind setting it is in. Wish I hadn’t bothered and I’ll never have a sage again and would not reccomend.

    Hello,

    Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we’re really sorry to hear you’ve been disappointed with the upgrade. That’s never what we want, especially when you’ve already been happy with another one of our machines.

    Regarding the steam wand, one thing that can really help is purging it after every use, this flushes out any milk residue inside the wand. If it isn’t purged regularly, the openings can block over time, which can happen on most machines.

    With the grinder, each bean can behave quite differently (oilier, drier, darker roasts, etc.), so the grinding adjustments vary a lot. The grinder can be set to a very fine setting and each bean require individual dialling-in.

    We completely understand your frustration, and we wish we’d had the chance to go through all this with you in more detail to assist with grinder adjustments or the steaming process.

    We are glad to read the return process is active and hope you will soon find a machine that works for you as wished.
