I really wanted this to work as it’s a great price, good size and looks great on the counter top. However it just does not do the job. It does not freeze consistently through the ice cream, which means that some ice cream is so hard at the outside of the bucket the paddle gets stuck whilst the rest of the product is still very soft in the centre. In order to then do what cuisinart recommend to deal with this problem (leave it to melt a little, then mix it through and freeze in a freezer), you end up with ice crystals as the product hasn’t been churned properly. I also used a metal spoon to remove this frozen product, causing scratches to the bucket. Nowhere in the instructions does it say not to do this. Cuisinart gave me several ‘tips’ to deal with these problems but none of them are in the advertised description. I’m returning it but they initially say they will have to test it as it’s not faulty so I won’t get a refund. I’m sticking to my guns and saying this isn’t working as advertised. It doesn’t make ice cream fast without several extra steps (pre chilling, post freezing) and that isn’t what I bought from the description. I hate making a fuss but it’s just not good enough. I only tried 3 times on ice cream setting so can’t speak for rest of settings.

Produced very nice ice cream and yoghurt so far. Easy to use, easy to clean.

I bought this 2 months ago as I have always wanted to make my own ice cream. You will not be disappointed, this is an amazing machine that churns out delicious ice cream every time.

Excellent ice cream maker, easy to use, good size to store away if you have a bit of cupboard space. Smooth ice cream and it really only takes 35 minutes!

My 1st attempt. We made vanilla with chopped up chocolate bits. Tasted lovely but was far too soft. Had to turn it on for longer. Next time I'll try take the paddle out and use the keep cold button

Brilliant machine, much easier than past model (which I’d used for 20 years)! Only problem is that it holds a smaller amount of mixture, so I have to churn double the times for the same quantity. However, it is efficient,quiet and very streamlined

Very neat and tidy machine that does exactly what it’s supposed to. Very impressed so far and looking forward to experimenting with different flavours.

Bought this as I had one years ago but this one is a whole new ball game. So easy to use I followed the instructions and wow made yummy scrumptious ice cream tastes so good and no additives. Also experimented with addition of chocolate in vanilla ice cream so good. Family love it as well as doesn’t take long to make.
