My two and a half year old grandson was frustrated with the magnetic pen. You have to hold it straight vertically in order to get the balls to move and it was a challenge for him to keep holding it that way. I think he will catch on, but right now since he can't get the balls to move easily, it doesn't hold his interest.

This is such a great activity that keeps my grandson interested all while he is learning. I would definitely recommend.

Daughter is 2.5 and loves it! Just enough challenge but not enough to frustrate.

She makes up little stories for the balls and we think it will be a great toy for in the car.

My son has not fully grasped the idea of this game yet as he is a bit too young still, but he is practicing his hand-eye coordination with it, which is very important. As always, Germany always produces quality products.

This is an excellent toy! I bought if for my two year old nephew. He loved it and his big sister and brother play with it too. It good quiet activity.
