Received the Dreamworks Dragons Toothless figure from Spinmaster to try out. The kids (aged 5 & 12) love it! The product required some assembly but was very easy to put together and the kids have a great time playing with it! The plasma blast is a neat feature where the mouth of the dragon lights up blue and the wings are moveable. This toy is a big hit! We love the movie and having this toy makes us very excited for the newest movie to come out!

Absolutely cool toy! The light up mouth, the different sounds, and the moving wings, all really neat details to appreciate. This is going to be a favourite in the house for sure!

This Dreamworks Dragons: Toothless Dragon arrived last week and it has been an absolute hit since! Toothless makes an appearance at least once a day and occupies the kids for a few hours at a time.

When Toothless first arrived, I was worried my four year old might break some piece of the figure. To my delight, the dragon is quite sturdy and built to withstand play. The quality is apparent by the decent weight and sturdy wings that flap as the dragon flies.

The figure comes with its tail and wings dissembled but they are very easy to simply click into place. The dragon makes several noises, each distinct from the other. Toothless also lights up inside the mouth when making a plasma blast. This feature is very fun and adds to the thrill during imaginative play. The dragon also has three settings, controlled by a sliding button. You can set the dragon to silent, plasma blast only, or a setting where Toothles shuffles between making different noises and plasma blasts.

Overall, my children very much enjoyed making Toothless fly, blast and bite. They enjoyed flapping the wings to make the flying action more real and other dolls were gathered to ride on its back, dolls that were not part of the movie. This is a well made toy and invites imaginative play whether or not you are a fan of the film. I highly recommend this toy for anyone that's a fan and anyone that would love to add a flying dragon to their world of creative play.

I recieved this toy through Butterly and my kids played with it immediately. It was super easy to open the packaging, and assembly of the pieces was very straight forward. My 5 yr old was able to put it together though he needed some help snapping the wings in.

It's a very well done figure, there's so much detailing all over. I enjoy that the wings are flexible, and material makes it feel leathery but also durable. The fact that the wings can "fold in" and pop back open when you press the dragon back/head was really cool.

My kids enjoyed that you could press either the back scales or the head to activate the toy, but we noticed that it always required the release of the first press to activate which was a little bothersome but not terrible. I do wish there was some flexibility of the tail or the neck, as the dragon head faces very low and even adjusting the feet didn't help. The light on the mouth is a wonderfully bright blue that shows even when it's lit in the house. In the dark it shines even better.

Otherwise I love that it came with batteries, is so impressively large and has several different cries. It says it's for ages 4+, but my 3 y.o. was able to play with it no problem. Super fun, even if kids don't know what movie it's from.

I'm excited to share that my little guy had the chance to try out the "How To Train Your Dragon Ultimate Plasma Blast Toothless" toy, and it was a hit! He loves how it roars and flaps its wings, making it feel like Toothless is really flying. When it roars, its mouth opens and lights up, which makes playing in the dark a blast!

This toy is durable and well-made. Plus, the wings and tail can detach, so its really easy to store away. Thank you to Butterly and Spin Master for sending us this complimentary product!

Both my husband and my toddler were so excited when we opened our mail and seen Toothless! Upon reading the box it said that Toothless had sounds as well as a light in its mouth and the wings could move. We started playing around with it and the sound was working but the light was not. Also the sound was so delayed from when the button was hit to make the mouth open. This was our first disappointment. The second disappointment was having issues with the wings not being able to move back and forth. We finally got them moving but something sounded like it broke on the inside when it happened. And lastly the tail is shaped the wrong way which makes it different than the picture/character as well as it can't sit/stand as the tail is curved down. Cool concept but very much a flawed design.

Honestly, I would want this toy. But as a bonus, my daughter loves it too! Its massive and easy to put together with cool sounds and easy to press (for my little one) button on its back. She loves taking her toys on flights on its back and scaring the rest of our family with his roar. Its as cool on display as it is to play with. We love it!

I really thought my girls might not enjoy the dragon but I was absolutely wrong! They loved the dragon so much, both of them are running around the house with the little dragon. It's amazing and has definitely brought a big smile to my kid's face. My kids love the light in the eyes of the dragon.
