The board itself is good quality and sturdy, and the size is perfect for a child. However, the pen that comes with this board is very poor. The lines are barely visible, which makes drawing difficult and frustrating. With a better pen, this board would be great, but unfortunately the current pen really affects the overall experience.

We have the exact same issue that others are having where the writing is faint and dissolved over a short period in time. It seems like there was a bad run of these but would love to know if there is a fix for this.

Seeing all the negative reviews I had to jump on and disagree. Was gifted this with my eldest for his first birthday. He enjoyed it, we never had any issues. Now my daughter uses it at 1 years and she LOVES it. She plays with it so regularly, keeps her well entertained whilst I am getting on with jobs upstairs - this is definitely her kind of play. I am here right now buying it as a gift - Highly recommend if your toddler likes to draw

I just bought this from target yesterday… the writing is SO faint! And starts to disappear on its own or “bleeds” into blobs. I have never been this dissatisfied and disappointed in a toy, as this is the first one I’ve gotten my baby that I’m actually considering on returning it, but I had to drive an hour to the closest city. I was slightly concerned there was no way to test it in store since there’s a paper and plastic covering the whole front and pen BUT of all the ones I’ve used since I was a kid I’ve never had one be so “cheap” like. I really really liked the cushion on the back and that it’s a good size for my baby to hold but the quality of the magnet board is atrocious to be honest.

We love the lap tray cushion so it’s not so hard on the lap when the kids are drawing and being creative!! My 4 year old loves to draw so this was a perfect gift for him.

This is the best drawing pad. My youngest loves drawing on it and my oldest loves practicing his letters on it. We haven’t had any issues with it, the quality has been impressive!!!

one issue , how do you clean screen ie crayon used on it

My twin toddler boys, now 21 months, have recently discovered a way to break the front of the drawing board and rip small shards of plastic off. Whatever was inside, they consumed. White powder was all over their mouths and hands by the time I got to them. They loved this toy, but I am afraid I had to throw it away. While this is unfortunate, I love B. Toys and will continue to buy them!
