As my maternity leave comes to an end, I’m desperately trying to get my exclusively breastfed baby to take a bottle. This set arrived well-packaged, offering multiple bottle sizes, nipple flows, plus 2 pacifiers and a bottle brush. I loved the variety! This would be such a great gift for a new mom. I love the glass bottles - especially since they’re BPA free and don’t have any microplastics. They were easy to assemble and the included brush made it easy to clean after use. The end of the brush gets right into the nipple and the contour of the brush makes sure the whole bottle gets clean. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts, my baby will not accept this bottle. I don't think the issue is with the bottle. After being EBF for 4 1/2 months, he’s just struggling to adjust. He is a fan of the pacifiers though. They are soft and don’t cause any irritation to his skin. I will continue to try the bottles over time, as I do think he will eventually accept them. I was graciously gifted these to provide my honest review by the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

When selecting bottles for my primarily breastfed child I knew I wanted glass but beyond that I stuck with a friend’s recommendation. My baby has dealt with some reflux issues and as I started researching better bottle options before my return to work I was given this bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The bottles were an immediate yes and we have 100% made the switch! The bottles feel heavy in a good quality durable way and I so appreciate not having to deal with a bunch of internal parts (especially for cleaning) - it’s just the bottle, the nipple, and the outside ring. But hands down the best part is how the nipple is constructed. It gives baby the ability to control the flow and really does seem to mimic actual breastfeeding. This has fixed all transition problems and taken away the frustration of trying to do paced feeding and baby coming off the nipple and spitting it out or worst of all wasting precious milk as she struggled to maintain latch.

She’s a much more efficient eater with these, no wasted breastmilk, and I haven’t noticed any tummy problems with my already reflux-y baby. The only hardship is getting milk out to test temperature as it’s designed to literally respond to babies sucking so it doesn’t just drip out, but a small price to pay for how well my baby has responded to these bottles.

I think the gift set is a great intro to these bottles and would be great for a new mom testing things out. Especially with the multiple sizes and bottle brush/pacis. My baby isn’t too picky on pacifiers so she took these just fine, but wasn’t the huge improvement we saw like with the bottles. It does seem super light compared to other options and I like that it has a ring to use a pacifier clip which is a weird quirk we noticed a lot of pacifiers are missing.

Bottle brush similarly does the job and is a great inclusion in a newborn kit, works great for the bottles and comfortable to handle so just adds to the value.

My sister is expecting and I’ve already told her to return her other options and just try this set first. So overall, I can’t recommend this set enough. Especially for breastfed and/or reflux babes!

These bottles are by far the best I’ve tried! I used to use the Dr. Brows bottles but honestly they were so annoying— green straw was too much to clean plus they leaked, oh and the opening was too small for pouring formula powder into. The Avent bottles are the perfect size, durable glass, never leak, and I love the wide opening. Also, the ca is securely on so they won’t slip out of your hand. I also like the measurement system on the sides. They fit perfectly into my bottle washer as well. Can’t find a bad thing about them! Also, my son loves the nipple on the bottle and can drink as quickly or as slowly as he desires. 10/10! It’s funny, I was thinking about getting these then received them as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, loved them so much I bought four more immediately. :)

I want to love the Philips Avent Natural Newborn Glass Gift Set, but I can’t for two reasons: the nipple on the baby bottle & the pacifier shape.

The nipple on the baby bottle does not pass the “triangle test” supported by IBCLCs and SLPs to allow for a deep latch. My baby will just “nipple feed” off the Avent bottles which translates to a poorer latch on the breast when we’re not bottle feeding. The pacifier shape is also not a slim, round, flexible shape that’s approved by said professionals, however my baby won’t take a pacifier, so I never even got to try these!

Now, I do love that they’re glass, it’s extremely easy to assemble with just 4 parts to the bottle, the brush that comes with the gift set is great at getting underneath the lip of the bottle, and they can fit onto my spectra pump adapters if need be. I will definitely keep these as back up pump bottles as well as using the 8oz bottles for pumped milk storage (the pitcher method), just won’t be feeding my baby from them!

I received this bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall it’s been a really solid, practical set to have during those early newborn months. My first impression was that it felt like a genuinely useful, all-in-one kit rather than something with filler items. I think it makes a great baby shower gift, as it’s the kind of set I would have been very happy to receive myself.

The glass bottles feel sturdy and high-quality, and I have peace of mind knowing they hold up well to frequent sterilizing and temperature changes. They are a bit heavier than plastic bottles, which I noticed at first, but I got used to it quickly. My baby adjusted to the soft, wide nipples without much trouble, which was a relief since we were combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Assembly was also simple, there aren’t too many parts, so even when I was tired, putting them together or taking them apart to clean didn’t feel like a hassle.

The ultra-soft pacifiers were a nice bonus in the set. My baby didn’t take to them immediately, but over time would accept them here and there, especially for short soothing moments. I appreciated how lightweight and gentle they felt compared to some other pacifiers we tried.

The bottle cleaning brush ended up being more helpful than I expected. The curved brush head actually fits the shape of the bottles really well, and the molded handle made it comfortable to use. It made cleaning the glass bottles feel quicker and more thorough.

This set has been dependable and easy to use day-to-day. It covers the basics really well without overcomplicating things, and I’d recommend it to other parents or giving it as a gift.

My name is Danielle, and I received the Philips Avent Natural newborn glass gift set through the stellar product testing panel. I am a mom of two. I have a two-year-old and a two month old. My two-year-old absolutely loved the Phillips Avent bottles. We used them daily for almost a year and a half. My only complaint with them was that because we were using in washing them so much that the plastic started to look dirty. We planned to also use the same bottles with my two month old and we’re so excited to test out the glass ones. My two month old also loves the nipples just like my first did. The wide neck makes it similar to the breast and he latches perfectly. I can say without a doubt that I would highly recommend the glass bottles. They are so easy to clean and I don’t have to worry about how often I am sterilizing them, and damaging the plastic. The bottle brush that comes in the set also makes it super easy to clean underneath the lip of the bottle that is hard to reach with a normal bottle brush.

My two month old was not a fan of the pacifiers, but he’s very picky when it comes to the shape of the pacifier. We have still yet to find one that he really truly loves.

Overall I would say I highly recommend this product set, and it would be a great baby shower gift. Especially to a first time mom who was looking to try out new things. Every baby is different and not every baby will like the same thing so trying a gift set like this that has small quantities of different products is a great option

I enjoy how thick the glass bottles are and my little guy did great with the soft wide nipples.

The different sizes of glass bottles will be great as my baby grows and will be put to good use in the future!! At first, I was skeptical of the bottle cleaning brush because I’ve never used one like that, but after my first use, the brush molded to the shape of the glass bottle and cleaned it effortlessly. I really do like the brush and will continue to use it. My son accepted the ultra-soft pacifier without hesitation! This is a huge plus and the paci is always within arms reach!! Everything in this gift set is easy to use and clean. Highly recommend!

One of the pros of the glass bottles is their sturdy, high-quality feel and the peace of mind that comes from not having to worry about plastic wear, staining, or odors from milk or formula sitting too long. This makes them great for long-term use. The bottle nipples are well-designed and easy for babies to latch onto, nearly as naturally as the breast, which can make feeding smoother—especially for newborns transitioning between breast and bottle. The included pacifier is soft and sized perfectly, making it a great fit for newborns who need comfort, though my daughter rarely uses a pacifier for long. The cleaning brush is another highlight—it’s thoughtfully curved, making it much easier to reach into the neck of the bottle and remove any leftover milk residue.

Here are the cons: The glass bottles are noticeably heavier than plastic alternatives, which can be inconvenient during frequent feedings or when traveling. My toddler loves throwing whatever is in his hand, and you definitely do not want to be hit with one of these. In addition to the weight of the bottles, there is also concern that they could break. I did perform a “drop test” in which I dropped one of the empty four ounce glass bottles at room temperature from a countertop of average height onto the floor. It did not break; however, I would not recommend dropping this bottle if filled with warm liquid or with a bottle that has been freshly sanitized with heat. It’s best to take extreme caution with these bottles in either scenario. There’s also a slight gap between the bottle and the top, which can feel less secure than expected. The pacifier tends to retain water after washing, requiring extra attention to dry properly. Lastly, while the cleaning brush works well for bottles, it lacks an effective nipple brush, making it harder to thoroughly clean the top components.

Overall, it’s a well-designed set with a focus on quality. A few practical issues keep it from being perfect; however, I would still recommend this set as a great gift for any expectant mother.
