Baskets SK8 HI WATERPROOF INSULAT - VANS

I bought the Gore Tex version of this shoe a couple of years ago and really liked them. I like this version too. It seems a little lighter but just as waterproof. They fit true to size. Great winter shoe!

I bought a pair of these last year around the time winter was starting so I’d have something more comfortable to wear out than my snow boots, especially when the snow wasn’t too deep. These made it through near-daily wear in snow, ice, slush, and all the general yuckiness that winter and spring break up brought and still look practically brand new. The only real sign of their age was some discoloration around the white trim from dirt, but a magic eraser took that right off.

I’ve also worn these off and on throughout the summer and fall. They’re completely comfortable like that as well. They keep my feet warm and dry without getting too hot and don’t feel much different thanmy normal sneakers (not heavy or stiff like some insulated shoes). If it’s super icy you may need some additional ice cleats for more grip, but for most circumstances these were fine on their own.

Overall very much recommended and I’m buying another pair in a different color to add to my collection this coming winter!

Purchased months ago and now worn through one PNW winter. The shoes are cozy and waterproofing is legit. But sizing is a whole size off from regular Vans. I usually wear an 11, I probably should have ordered a 10. Wish I had figured that out before wearing them in the elements.

The Sk8-Hi Waterproof Insulated Shoe is my absolute favorite Vans style. Aside from looking absolutely amazing and stylish, they're really comfortable - the 30% recycled material they use for the soles makes them way more soft and comfortable IMO. I have them in several colors and find myself checking the website for new releases. Love these shoes.

They were supposed to come with cush insoles but they came with regular ones. And the laces are too short. They don't reach the top two sets of holes. Nice laces, but too short.

I tried a few other brands of waterproof sneakers before these. These are by far my favorites. They are comfortable, not too heavy, and look great. I have narrow feet and they are a bit on the wider side, but I will be wearing thick wool socks with them, so I do not mind. Waterproof feature seems to work perfectly. Would definitely buy again.

This shoe doesn't fit like a normal Vans shoe. It's tight, and you should order s size or two up. With that, it does work well as an outdoor shoe.
